Dear PSL Family,
It is my honor to inform you that PSL has earned the Platinum Certification credential from SAGECare! SAGECare is a division of SAGE, the country’s oldest and largest non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of LGBT older adults. PSL was able to achieve this recognition by having 80% of our team members complete the competency training and consulting on LGBT aging adults concerns for service providers. Our team has now joined hundreds of other leading organizations across the country in demonstrating a strong commitment to creating safe, positive environments for LGBTQ+ aging adults.
By fulfilling the requirements of a SAGECare credential our team members have been equipped with the knowledge and skills to begin building empathy for everyone, provide culturally sensitive services, and augment our organization’s long-term growth by powering innovation through inclusivity.
Together PSL and SAGECare will continue our partnership to serve people with the best care possible and make each older person feel comfortable for who they are.
