PSL Welcomes Matt Oathout

Presbyterian Senior Living is excited to announce that Matt Oathout has joined our team as Regional Vice President of Operations.

Matt brings 25 years of progressive experience in senior services and healthcare administration, with a proven track record of driving operational efficiency and maintaining high standards of quality. During his tenure at Luthercare, he successfully led the Luther Acres campus through a transformative renovation and expansion project, enhancing the flagship campus into a vibrant, integrated community.

Matt holds a Master's degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Community Health from East Carolina University and a Bachelor of Science in Management from St. John Fisher University. He is an active member of the American College of Health Care Administrators and maintains his Nursing Home Administrator license. His commitment to industry leadership is evidenced through his participation in the 2015 Leading Age Larry Minnix Leadership Academy and the inaugural class of Leading Age PA Fellows in Leadership. He is also the Past Board Chair of Your Neighborhood Connection Homecare.

Throughout his career, Mr. Oathout has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, organizational change, and innovative problem-solving. He has successfully implemented numerous technology initiatives to enhance resident care and operational efficiency, including the deployment of advanced systems like Touchtown and Point Click Care. His leadership philosophy is grounded in building meaningful connections with team members, residents, partners, and the local community, fostering an environment of transparency and continuous improvement.
